The Role
As a North and Central Luzon Region Head, you see to it that the actual bottom line (Net Income) of the Commercial Banking Group (ComBG) is within the Region will meet the target set by the Bank to meet required risk return parameters Responsible for identification and tapping products of various external agencies for funding and/or guarantee programs. You also need to make sure that all transactions emanating from Marketing are in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures (satisfactorily audit results).
How you'll contribute
Assists in the Marketing/Solicitation of accounts for deposits, placements, loans, and other trade-related transactions;
Assisting Team heads in packaging of accounts and making client calls;
Reviews the daily transactions of ComBG teams within his supervised Region;
Assists Team Heads in restructuring past due accounts and collections of Marketing Division;
Acts as the General Administrator of the ComBG teams within the Region;
Presents and justifies the packages of solicited accounts for Credit Committee Meeting approval and Executive Committee Meeting approval;
Evaluates the profitability of the assigned Region and determines the strategy to be taken to meet targets;
Manages the overall portfolio of the Region i. e., industry exposures, etc.;
Reviews and evaluates the processes and development of subordinates, includes addressing development needs of subordinates;
Responsible for all the activities of the lending hubs under them with respect as to evaluating , packaging, restructuring, servicing, profitability, strategy of overall portfolio as well as the daily transaction, manpower requirement, training and development.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing or any related field.
At least 10 years of relevant work experience
Specializes in Banking and Financial, Corporate Finance/Investment, General/Cost Accounting, Credit (Evaluation/Appraisal), E-commerce, Sales-Corporate, Sales-Financial Services
Good knowledge on credit, credit structuring, credit policies, transactional procedures, and product features. Knowledge on regulatory aspects of lending and banking, and legal documentation.
Good interpersonal, marketing, and analytical skills. Needs analysis and solutions matching skills.
Outgoing and has the passion for customer service and collaboration with shareholders, product and operational partners. Has the capacity to intelligently interact with senior leaders, whether internal or external. Aggressive in looking for opportunities to expand client relationships.
