Leads and manages network design and implementation
Provide network support with a variety of operating systems
Install and configure computer network equipment
Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations
Provide network support to users
Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services and settings
Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources
Implement and manage disaster recovery and backup
Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades
Monitor network to ensure optimal performance
Create and maintain network users/permissions
Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility
Create technical support documentation for systems and applications
Perform other duties and tasks that maybe assigned by the PIC or PIP that will further the interest of data privacy and security and uphold the rights of the data subiects
A bachelor's degree in information technology, intormation systems, or computer engineering.
With a minimum of two (2) years experience in planning, creating and managing and improving networks
Network Training on operating system, information security, network administration, and the basics of programming.
Certificates on the following will be an advantage:
Comp CompTIA A + certificate
Comp CompTIA Network + Certification
. Certified Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2016
Microsoft Certified Solutions Certified Expert (MCSE): Basic Infrastructure
VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization
Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching
Ing Cisco Routing and Switching Certified Network Professional Level (CCNP)
