Job Descriptions
Establishes computer networking environment by designing system equipment configuration and directing system equipment installation
Monitors network performance by establishing System and Network Operation Baseline and administering monitoring, measuring, and evaluating hardware and software performance levels
Supervises and directs the system operators to ensure data preparation, technical support & establishes computer standards and guidelines
Secures network system by establishing and enforcing security policies; defining and monitoring access
Ensures coordination between System Operators through reviewing MIS Technical Endorsements activities
Scheduling Preventive Maintenance for computer equipment, peripherals and network equipment
Reviews the Computer Service Reports and identify and document computer equipment and peripherals issued and pulled-out
Conducts actual storage inventory and reviews monthly storage inventory report
Reviews Server Monitoring Sheet and prepares monthly report
Occasional Duties
Supervises installation of workstations and communication cables based on proposal
Troubleshooting network problems and outages for both Internet and Intranet environment
Tests new hardware and software
Performs other duties as may be assigned to or required of the job
Job Qualifications
Graduate of BS Electronics Engineering
Must be a Licensed Electronics Engineer
Preferably a CISCO Certified Network Associate or trained in routing and switching
Must be knowledgeable in computer troubleshooting, operating systems, Microsoft Office and VISIO
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service-oriented
Willing to render overtime and can work on shifting schedules
