WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT - PURPOSE:
The mission of the Networks & Communications Technical Architecture group is to lead the development and ongoing evolution of the Global Network and Communications Infrastructure Architecture for JT-Group.
The Architecture includes but is not limited to Wide Area Network, Local Area Network, Internet and Security, Remote Access, Managed Application Delivery Controller, Unified Communications, Call Centers and Video Conferencing.
The incumbent leads development of JT-Group's global network services and ensures that Global Network & Communication Services (such as WAN/MAN, (W)LAN, Cloud Services, Internet Access, Security Services, Traffic Management, RAS, UCS, CC, Video Conferencing) within NCC Service Portfolio provide the flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements while remaining manageable and cost effective, and in line with global strategies and standards. Particular Service Blocks/Services the incumbent is responsible for as Primary and Secondary owner are listed in the section Main Area of Responsibility.
He/She also works closely with service providers to build new Network Services within the corresponding Service Blocks under his/her responsibility in accordance with the business requirements and to make sure that those new solutions / services are reflected in NCC Service Portfolio as standard.
The incumbent is responsible for staying abreast of evolving technology and keep management aware of new trends and technology and how it could be incorporated as part of the global technical architecture strategy.
This function is strategic with a scope encompassing the global network and communications infrastructure.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary NCC Services Ownership:
Develop and maintain a standard set of technical solutions to provide the following global services to the corporate JT-Group network seeking the optimal balance between cost, performance, and reliability requirements of specific business entities. Be accountable as a service owner (Primary responsible person) for the services:
Wireless & Local Area Network (LAN Service Block)
Main Datacenter LAN/DMZ (LAN)
Main DC Isolation/Segmentation Hardening (TM)
JT iDC LAN/DMZ Infrastructure (LAN/TM)
WLAN for sanctions countries (LAN)
Managed MAN (WAN & MAN)
Secondary NCC Services ownership:
Deputize the Primary NCC Service owner for the following services:
Managed light-DMZ (TM)
Industrial Automation/Process Control System network (PCS/LAN/TM Service Blocks)
Unified Remote Access Service (RAS)
WAN/Security Services for the sanction countries (WAN/TM)
Contact Center Services (CC)
NCC TECHNICAL ROADMAP, STRATEGY AND PLANNING:
Ensure close follow up on evolving technologies in the area of the assigned services (mentioned in the p.1) Evaluate those technologies / trends, Develop and Maintain NCC Technical Roadmap to incorporate those new technologies as part of global technical architecture strategy, contribute to the Global IT Strategic Planning.
CHANGE / SERVICE REQUEST MANAGEMENT:
Ensure proper technical and cost analysis, provide with technical recommendations for all change and service requests assigned by NCC Team Members, BTS or other IT Teams on timely manner.
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT:
Provide advance level support, expertise and assist NCC Operations in case of major service incidents, P1 and crisis.

Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager's request.

Capacity Management:
Monitor performance of all services and make recommendations to the Service Delivery Team for further review and recommendations to the customers.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
University degree in Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
5+ years experience in Information Technology, with particular focus on Technical Architecture and governance, Telecommunications (Data and Voice/Video).
Proven experience in design/maintenance enterprise-wide solutions in Telecom environment in the areas of Data, Voice and Video Networks, Remote Access, IP Telephony, Call Centers, Intranet / Internet and related security services. Experience of managing IT outsourcing service provider.
Fluent in oral and written English and Japanese
Strong IT Telecommunications background. Managing IT outsourcing service provider or solution vendors. Solid communication and project management skills.
Ability to work in multicultural environment. Proficiency in IT Service Management processes and best practices (ITIL, ITSM, SLAs). Good understanding of IT Finance.
Required Certification:
Cisco Certified Network Associate - CCNA or above (could be not up to date)
Fortinet Network Security Expert - NSE4+ (nice to have)
Specific work experience with Cisco (IOS), FortiGate, F5 Big IP, HPE(Aruba) and Ivanti Pulse Secure is a plus.
