Odfjell Drilling Philippines (ODP) is looking for a safety conscious, passionate, positive and committed Naval Architect who has knowledge in either Mimosa, Orcaflex, AutoCAD, Matlab, Sesam and Phyton to support other Odfjell Drilling group globally. This position is based in the Philippines and is not for overseas deployment.
We are looking for someone who has
Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering or equivalent, license is not required
At least five (5) year relevant work experience with design, analyses and/or operational support.
Experience related to mobile offshore drilling units is an advantage but not required
Experience working in a multicultural environment is required, experience in shared services environment is an advantage
Competencies you will bring
Proficient with the following engineering software such as Mimosa, Orcaflex, Sesam, AutoCAD, Matlab and Phyton
Familiar with relevant rules and regulations for offshore operation and mooring/riser analysis
Ability to work independently as well as in team
Ability to take initiative and make decisions within scope, procedure and guidelines
Structured, accurate, systematic and committed to deliver within deadlines
Result oriented mindset
Can coordinate and communicate with internal and external overseas partners and counterparts
Good oral and written communication skills in English language
Motivated to facilitate and contribute to company's growth
Your mission
Perform various marine analyses and produce documentation, in accordance with applicable class and authority rules and regulations

riser analyses
stability analyses
motion response/seakeeping analysis
marine operations simulations
other hydrodynamic/hydrostatic tsk
Responsible for efficient delivery of analysis, reports, drawings and other deliverables as required by the project/client
Responsible for keeping up to date with best practice analysis and work methods including applicable regulatory requirements
Cooperate closely with project teams as needed
Partake in developing the marine discipline; work methods, procedures and in-house analysis software
Ensure good document handling; update and revise documents as required by project/client
Contribute to a positive and professional working environment
Perform other related tasks that may be required from time to time
