What you'll be doing:
Design and build native applications for the Android platform
Work with outside data sources and APIs
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for developing mobile apps
Work closely with colleagues to define, design, and ship new features
Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
What will put you ahead:
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Experience with continuous integration.
Experience in Android development, React Native, and/or Flutter development
Proficiency in Java
Ability to use the Android Studio, including the Android SDK, with ease
Prior experience as an Android Developer
Excellent coding and code review skills
Experience with Android SDK and multiple versions of Android.
Experience with Android framework, as well as offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Strong analytical and planning skills
Good communication and presentation skills
