Job description
The National Sales Manager is responsible for managing and developing channel partners. He or she will work closely with the local and regional team to formalize a suitable strategy to drive growth within the channel markets. He or she is also responsible for cultivating and developing relationships with key decision-makers and leveraging any existing relationships within the channels and with end-users. Other key responsibilities include:
Increase market share nationally and vertically in order to meet set sales targets
Develop and grow relationships with existing channel partners as well as potential new channel partners
Develop and grow relationships with targeted strategic end-users
Identify and attend strategically targeted events and/or initiate similar activities to profile the company's brand
Set KPIs for sales programs implemented and continuously follow up on same
Meet and exceed sales goals
Manage (indirectly) a technical sales team
Requirements
The ideal candidate for the role should be well connected in the professional audio-visual and technology space and be aware of the major players and influencers. The role is based in Manila however the reach is national and will require regular travel within Philippines as well as participation in regional events.
He or she must have:
Proven experience delivering results through channel partners
An ambitious and natural drive to develop business relationships
An ability to work, plan and execute independently
Excellent presentation skills and a strong understanding of corporate culture and best business practices
Experience and proven track record of successful negotiating
Experience in value added selling of high-end AV solutions
A clear understanding of the company's play and positioning in the professional audio-visual and technology space
