National Key Account Manager - Japanese Accounts | Manila | req68175
This role is an Outside Sales position with focus on growing a set of assigned customers within the Japan Development Accounts Program (JDAP). This plays an integral role in new business generation and holds responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new and additional business within the assigned portfolio.
YOUR ROLE
This role is expected to actively pursue growth opportunities, through existing clients and acquisition of new business and to integrate successfully into operations. Targets include achievement of volume and gross profit (TEU / CBM / TON / GP).
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
To be the primary commercial point of contact for existing and potential customers within an assigned portfolio, selling KN services across business units (SEA/AIR).
To closely work with operations and liaise on pricing/RFQ preparation.
To develop spot and regular opportunities with new and existing customers.
To ensure customer retention on assigned account portfolio.
To prepare and conduct professional customer visits, face-to-face / virtual presentations and participate on bids.
To input and timely update sales activities utilizing CRM system.
To ensure proper on-boarding/handover of new and or additional business to internal stakeholders.
To maintain strong engagement with regional and global internal stakeholders in relation to the assigned portfolio
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bilingual- can converse in both English and Japanese language
2-5 years of experience in Sales
Experience in Logistics Industry is an advantage
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong drive to exceed expectations.
Must possess sound business acumen with an eye for opportunities and development in the logistics industry;
With sound decision making skills and must have a successful track record in setting priorities and meeting customer commitments.
Must be highly organized, with a strategic mindset and with the ability to influence customers to purchase services from Kuehne+Nagel by showcasing value propositions and differentiators that meet and exceed customer requirements
