Primary Function:
With the help of MEPFS Manager, MEPF Commercial/ Cost Engineer will be in charge of material take-off and cost proposal for project bid. Prepare querries and read plans thoroughly to provide accurate and detailed quantity needed to complete the system. Costing each item with acceptable and market competetive price. Monitoring purchase and inventory requeisition to achieve maximum profit for the company.

Excellent in using Take-off software (Planswift, Bluebeam and CAD)
Excellent understanding with standard construction procedure
With at least 2 years of experience
Must be a license Mechanical Engineer

Major Responsibilities:
Attend pre-bid and bid clarification meetings
Preparation of tender documents such as bill of quantities and technical submittals
Negotiation of scope of work and bid quantities submitted to clients
Facilitate accreditation of qualified subcontractors
Facilitate tender procedures and awarding to subcontractors ( contract preparation, NTP creation and other related transactions)
Process long lead item from quotation up to commissions
Evaluation process of contactor's/ supplier's billings.
Prepare bill of materials, purchase requests and inventory transfer request.
Updating of unit cost of every identified scope of work
Checking of verification of bill of materials, its justification and attachments
Checking validity of amendments submitted, its justification and attachments
Qualification, costing and consolidation of necessary attachments for variation orders
Monitoring of variation orders
Coordinate with other departments within the company as necessary
Maintain with other departments within the commpany as necessary
Maintain confidentiality of all MEPFS records and files
Other tasks assigned from time to time
