RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interpreting engineering drawings
Reading and interpreting mold mechanical drawing
Ability to measurement parts of mold and make adjustment base on findings
Understanding the structure, properties and characteristics of common materials used for the manufacture and repair of tooling, molds, die and jigs and fixtures
Apply and understand the methods and techniques used to assemble and dissemble tools, dies, jigs and fixtures
The basic principles of how the relevant tools, dies jogs and fixtures being manufactured/maintained function, the operating sequences, the purpose of individual components/ systems and how they interact
Business improvement techniques: recommending and contributing to the designing and implementation of new or revised manufacturing processes in order to be more efficient and cost effective
Testing to confirm correct operation, and of the effectiveness of repairs and maintenance activities carried out
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of any Engineering or Vocational course
At least 1 year experience as Mold Engineer
With 1-2 years work experience in plastic injection company
Can Follow standard safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
Key Skills; Ability to to work well to a team; able to use computer to do reports; excellent communication skills both written and verbal
