MODERNIZATION SALES ENGINEER (1)
(Cebu based)
 
Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
Proactively develop and maintain strong customer relationships within the assigned territory.
Educate customers on the advantages of modernization solutions for elevators and escalators.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, and complaints and resolving issues with the assistance of the service team.
Sales and Business Development
Identify and create new sales opportunities for both existing and potential customers.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and pricing goals.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotations, in coordination with the Engineering Department and management.
Ensure that all received orders align with the agreed terms and conditions.
Submit quotations, follow up with clients, and coordinate necessary assistance from superiors to close deals.
Prepare contract documents, purchase orders, and proforma invoices (if required) for assigned modernization projects.
Market Analysis and Reporting
Gather and analyze market and competitor information to spot trends and identify potential opportunities.
Keep accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities and ongoing tasks using appropriate tools.
Submit periodic sales reports and accurate sales forecasts to management, detailing daily work and achievements.
Technical Expertise
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable modernization solutions tailored to those requirements.
Secure layout drawings from the customer or their representative for the Engineering Department to use in estimating and installation planning.
Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to ensure successful project execution and on-time delivery.
Conduct actual site inspection required for the preparation of proposals to client and/or purchase orders to factory.
Logistics and Financial Management
Advise customers regarding the shipping schedules of the equipment being purchased.
Collect payments from customers for closed sales and ensure adherence to financial protocols.
Business Planning and Strategy
Assist in business planning by providing relevant input based on customer and market insights.
Contribute to strategic discussions with superiors regarding sales and market insights.
Prepares forecast of project to be secured and included in the budget preparation during Mid-Year and Outlook Business budget planning.
Confidentiality and Professionalism
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and classified information.
Other Responsibilities
Perform other sales-related tasks as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Support competitor activity monitoring and assist in the development of strategies to stay ahead of the market.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent.
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the elevator and escalator industry or a similar technical sales role preferred, but not required.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly motivated, goal-oriented and organized self-starter.
Ability to interpret and analyze customer needs and technical specifications.
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards is preferred.
