Job Description: Android Developer
a. Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
b. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable JAVA / Kotlin code
c. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
d. Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance
e. Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
f. Work with outside data sources and APIs
g. understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Technical Skill set Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge in Kotlin and/or Java
• Hands on experience in the full life cycle of Android application development
• RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Good Knowledge of Android SDK's different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Push Notifications and Cloud message APIs
• Firebase Services Integration
• Android Studio; Understanding of Google's Android design principles, patterns, interface guidelines, and best practices; Open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Experience in Gradle
• Knowledge of Reactive Programming is a plus
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Benchmarking and optimization

• Excellent experience with Swift and/or Objective-C and iOS SDK, Xcode, JSON
• Good working knowledge in Cocoa Touch
• Understanding of iOS Human Interface Guidelines
• Table Views, View Controllers, Storyboards, Auto Layout
• Strong knowledge in RESTful web services
• Firebase Services Integration
• Experience with memory management and caching mechanisms specific to mobile Devices
