RingCentral is looking for a Data Engineer to join our dynamic Big Data team to build and extend our Data stack.
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Lead, the Systems Developer will be working with Talend, Vertica, Hadoop Verbased frameworks to:
Integrate data across multiple SaaS platforms.
Integrate data across multiple Database and BigData platforms.
Build APIs to allow internal and external systems to access data on a secure framework.
Build user applications to standardize data access requests, etc.
Must-Have
5+ years of experience in integration development
5+ years of experience in a general IT environment within the corporate setting
Proficient on Python
Proficient on at least two of the following languages: Java, PHP, XSLT or Python
Proficiency in API development with SOAP and REST services
Qualifications
Development skills on Vertica, Talend & Hadoop (Data integration, BigData, ESB) or related platforms
Solid understanding of the interactions between Data Integration, BigData, ESB, BI, Data Warehousing and scheduling systems; how they connect and how to modify and maintain the parameters of these modules
BS or MS IT or equivalent experience
Large experience in data and systems integration to SalesForce
5+ years of experience in integration development
5+ years of experience in a general IT environment within the corporate setting
Experience working with Heroku or BigData platforms is a plus
Experience with Workday and or NetSuite integration is a plus
Experience with Dell Boomi is a plus
