Mid-Level WordPress Developer
This position is responsible for designing prototypes and converting designs into a flexible WordPress template. This role requires excellent design and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
Designs the User Interfaces (UI) for complex software applications for the web, desktop and mobile.
Participates in design reviews and develops detailed design specifications based on functional requirements and the created prototypes.
Works with Web Development Lead and Client and ensures the product is being developed as per the design specifications.
Commits source-code and web pages to the file repository.
Performs code walk through in order to understand/evaluate how the code works in the system, thereby ensuring its quality.
Writes and maintains documentation to describe the written program (e.g. Technical Design & Installation Documentation). Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revises programs.
Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries/questions, or errors/problems within the program.
Responsible for enumerating and understanding the details so that potential issues may be identified at once and may suggest opportunities for improvement.
Researches on technologies and approaches critical to the system's UI/UX design.
Requirements:
Graduate of at least 2-year course preferably relating to Information Technology courses
Solid understanding of HTML, HTML5, JavaScript and other Libraries.
At least 3 years of experience using WordPress and Solid understanding in PHP.
Highly skilled in CSS, Bootstrap, Photoshop.
Solid understanding of databases and web storage such as MySQL and understand the benefits of memory storage, relational databases.
Can integrate Front end and back end connectivity with knowledge of HTTP and REST API
Must understand and can apply Web Architecture
Must know how to use version control software such as Git, GitHub and Bitbucket
Other Details:
Employment terms: Full-time
Availability: Can start ASAP/Max of 30 days' notice
Schedule: Mid-Shift
Work Location: 7th Floor BA Lepanto Building, Paseo De Roxas, Makati City (Remote)
