Position Summary:
Conducts microbial analysis of wheat, flour and pasta products according to standard set by QA Department, specifications required by the clients and FDA.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Conducts microbiological tests for wheat, flour and pasta, water and air based on micro lab procedures and quality plan.
2. Performs equipment and personnel swab tests according to set frequency.
3. Do sampling and prepares needed materials.
4. Cleans and sanitizes microlab, disinfects laminar flowhood, cleans autoclave and decontaminates all glasswares used for analysis.
5. Calibrates top loading balance and monitors temperature.
Job Qualifications:
1. Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Bachelor of Science in Biology, and related courses
2. At least six (6) months experience preferably in a micro lab
3. Knowledgeable in Good Laboratory Practice and Microbiology
4. Has the ability to monitor microbiological quality of products
5. With good verbal and written communication skills
6. Computer literate
