About the role
The Manager - Supply Chain manages a country, manufacturing center or site Supply Chain team to ensure customers are safely, reliably and efficiently supplied. The role will work closely with both the Manufacturing plants, Business Management teams and Commercial focusing on operational excellence with the view to be the trusted partner of choice for our customers.
The successful candidate will be based in our Pasig office.
What you will be doing
Executes and manages in line with the Global Standards:
Support delivery of Business Management and Supply Chain strategy within Region
Maintain a strong focus on safety, encouraging drive toward best practice and ensuring full compliance
Manage multiple distribution channels
Identify and execute innovative supply chain opportunities to achieve customer delivery commitments
Accountable for 3rd party business management, formalised supplier performance management processes (where applicable) and invoice validation
Input and analysis of Breakaway initiatives as well as other continuous improvement activities affecting procedures and processes for shipping and other logistics activity (Supply Chain Optimisation)
Look for ways to increase efficiency and productivity of warehouse operations and improved accuracy to supply activities, making best use of the tools available
Lead team in all internal audit processes and procedures
Working with Regional Planning to monitor demand requirements from 1-24 months through Sales & Operations Planning processes
Support Procurement team, ensuring Global Procurement Standard processes and procedures are adopted
Work with Logistics Team to execute the Global Transportation Plan to ensure product is moved appropriately to meet demand
Ensure contracts are aligned between Category Management and Global Logistics for all supply activity
Internal quote management for transactional enquiries and ensure full adherence to Orica contract sign off processes tracking spend analysis and reporting
Align and manage team performance to Regional Supply Chain strategy whilst developing individuals through talent succession planning
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in logistics, supply chain, transportation or a business-related field
MBA preferred
Minimum and 10 years experience in supply chain
Proven influencer able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups
Working knowledge of regulations relating to transportation and warehouse operations, coupled with experience with a variety of logistics sourcing strategies
