Lead and manage an a development team composed of highly skilled developers, who are experts in multiple programming languages, such as Java, C#, SQL/PLSQL, Python used in supporting manufacturing systems, such as MES, Factory Planning, MRP (Material Resource Planning), equipment and tool mananagement systems, and PDM (product data management).
Mentor, guide, and promote the professional development of his team members based on genuine interest.
Manage relationships and contract negotiations with software vendors who provide developer resource augmentation (e.g. EdHouse, Yondu, etc.)
Overall responsible for the ownership, support, and management of a suite of applications (mentioned above) in projects involving implementations, deployments, enhancements, and continuous improvements of software delivery processes.
Foster relationships and collaboration with customers, who are the factory operations teams, factory Site CIM teams, Global IT support teams, and business leaders.
Provides team updates and project updates to upper IT management and business partners.
Manage resource allocations for projects, sustaining activies, and administrative task using a resource management tool.
Qualifications
BS Computer Science/IT/Engineering or related courses.
More than 10 years of IT experience in application development and/or business analysis.
Has experience working with software vendors providing resource augmentation or as partners in solutions delivery in big projects.
Expert in Java Web Development with experience in Spring Framework, Hibernate, JPA, Springboot, JQuery, and other scripting tool.
Experience with continuous integrations tools such as GIT/BitBucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven.
Experience with rapid and iterative software development methodologies; ie. AGILE/SCRUM
Knowledgeable in Windows and Linux OS with experience in scripting.
More than 10 years of leadership and managerial experience.
Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Experience in manufacturing, supply chain and product data management is a plus.
