REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of Metallurgical Engineering
With at least 2 years work experience; preferably in a foundry
Possess management and leadership skills
A team-worker and with positive mind set
Must be willing to be assigned in Marikina City
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for developing and improving processes for melting, casting, and forming metals. Optimize parameters such as temperature, alloy composition, cooling rates, and casting techniques to achieve desired properties and improve efficiency.
Select appropriate materials for specific applications based on their properties and performance requirements. Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that materials meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Conduct various analyses to evaluate the microstructure, mechanical properties, and performance of metal components.
Responsible for troubleshooting and identifying root causes of casting problems. Develop solutions to address issues such as casting defects, material failures, and process inefficiencies.
Engage in research and development activities to innovate new materials, processes, and technologies. This may involve exploring alternative alloys, refining manufacturing techniques, or developing novel applications for metal products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production staff, quality assurance personnel, and design engineers, to ensure smooth operations and product quality.
Do other tasks that may be assigned by the Immediate Head.
