Job Description
Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventor
Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
Supervise the physical inventory of the respective organization and ensure it is managed properly
Provide timely and accurate assistance while making decisions in regards to merchandising
Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and company's objectives
Compile and properly store all the data pertaining to sales, storage, and transportation
Coordinate and communicate with company buyers on what items to purchase for a store's inventory
Work in coordination with the traders and establish the proper work time frames
Set various sales goals and work with the division managers and other employees to ensure that those goals are met
Keep up with competitors' products and prices, set promotional goals, train distribution staff, and develop relationships with the marketing team
Manage each and every category of merchandise and also develop appropriate tools to perform data analysis in respect to the different categories
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's/College Degree in Merchandising, Retail, Marketing, Sales, or related field
Proven working experience in Merchandising
Experienced Merchandiser to produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Experience in wholesale or retail industry would be an advantage
