HIRING: MEPF ENGINEER
Job Summary:
The MEPF Engineer will oversee and coordinate the design, installation, and quality assurance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems in various construction projects. This role involves close coordination with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of MEPF works.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and inspect all MEPF installations to ensure compliance with approved plans, technical specifications
Review and validate MEPF designs, shop drawings, and material submittals
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and site teams for system integration
Conduct site inspections and quality checks of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Ensure proper testing and commissioning of MEPF systems
Identify and resolve conflicts or technical issues during project execution
Prepare daily and weekly reports on MEPF progress and activities
Ensure contractor compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices
Assist in preparing project documentation, including as-built drawings, permits, and turnover packages
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
PRC-licensed Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MEPF work for mid- to large-scale construction projects
Familiarity with Philippine Building Code, PEC, NFPA, and other local standards
Proficient in reading and interpreting MEPF drawings and technical documents
Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MEP project management software
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Preferred Experience:
Previous work in vertical (building) or horizontal (infrastructure) construction projects
Experience in HVAC systems, generator sets, pump systems, fire detection & suppression
Background in contractor or general construction setup is an advantage
