Job Summary:
Writes, edits text, and serves as a resource on medical and scientific content in the process of project development and new business pitches
Job Description:
1. Writing and Editorial Functions
1.1. Covers symposia and medical meetings, as necessary
1.2. Conducts research on various therapeutic areas and prepares the content outline based on the project brief Edits and proofreads text and ensures adherence to MIMS MedComms Style Guide
1.3. Incorporates comments and revisions from the assigned second Medical Writer
1.4. Incorporates comments and revisions from clients and contributors (eg, speakers), as necessary
1.5. Collaborates with the assigned Graphic Artist regarding project design execution (data presentation)
1.6. Collaborates with the assigned Project Team (BM, Project Manager, Graphic Artist) and Editorial Manager and provides medical and scientific inputs
1.7. Collaborates with other internal stakeholders (Regional Operations, Medical Writers from other MIMS MedComms Teams, Regional IT, Regional Publication Team, etc.)
1.8. Liaises with external stake holders (Medical and Marketing) regarding assigned projects, as necessary
1.9. Ensures that the editorial content adheres to the MIMS standard
1.10. Ensures that the editorial content adheres to relevant guidelines
1.11. Ensures accuracy and timely delivery of assigned projects in compliance with the agreed timelines
1.12. Reviews and signs off once the project is fully approved
1.13. Protects confidentiality of client information
