Job Description
Ensures achievement of sales targets by establishing sales territories and quota per territory.
Sets working plans and standards in accordance with the sales and marketing strategies.
Manages the district sales manager to ensure full implementation of the marketing plan.
Follow-ups, audits and corrects working plans and procedures in order to achieve the sales target.
Trains subordinates to work effectively and efficiently in achieving sales target.
Manages the sales team to ensure that established Operational Effectiveness parameters are met.
Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to protect existing and penetrate new markets.
Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plan as needed.
Keeps abreast with competitor's activities and pricing and provides timely feedback and suggestion to management regarding such.
Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the sales team.
A recruit, trains, develops, coach and appraise the performance of the District Sales Managers to ensure delivery of expectations and continuous competency development.
Performs other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
The Successful Applicant
Minimum of 7 years experience in Sales Management in a pharmaceutical multinational company
Must possess thorough knowledge of all aspects of operations in the area of sales and collection.
Must have keen business sense and people management skills.
Must have basic knowledge of the functions of the different sales support groups within the company.
Must possess effective oral and written communication skills.
Must have good analytical and decision-making skills.
Must be able to relate well with internal and external clients.
Must be proactive, innovative and open-minded.
Must be computer literate.
Must have business development or marketing experience.
