The Medical Claims Team Lead job involves managing and guiding a team of Medical Claims Analysts who will be responsible for analysis of receivables due from healthcare insurance companies and initiation of necessary follow-up actions to get reimbursed. The work includes a ?
combination of voice and non-voice follow-up along with undertaking appropriate denial and appeal management protocol. ?

The main responsibilities of a Medical Claims Team Lead include: ?
? * Manage day-to-day activities with the team.
? * Lead a team of analysts and a QA to do claims follow ups. Guide the team to reduce aging claims and optimize collections.
? * Respond to clients on any process-related queries and manage escalations.
? * Perform quality checks on work done by the team before it is sent to the clients.
? * Monitoring and managing workflow or daily targets to assure timely delivery of agreed SLAs.
? * Tracking and maintaining metrics for a variety of data including attendance, productivity, etc.
? * Develop processes to improve the productivity and quality of the team.
? * Mentor analysts and senior analysts. Supervise and train junior staff or new trainees and encourage good follow-up skills and work ethic.
? * Participate in projects & work towards the proper transition of knowledge to the team.
? * Work with managers to resolve any personnel problems or conflicts that may arise in the team.
? * In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Team Lead may be expected to perform follow-up work depending on inventory volumes.
? * Identify trends within inventory to aid collections and improve productivity.

Qualifications: ?
? * Bachelor's Degree in Medical/Healthcare course or similar
? * At least 5 years Healthcare Revenue Cycle background
? * At least 2 years experience in a supervisory/managerial role
? * Experience in QA audit is an advantage
? * Basic knowledge in Medical Billing
? * Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and other MS Office tools
? * Willing to work in US Eastern Time (9PM - 6AM Manila)
? * Amenable to work in V. Corporate Center, Salcedo Village, Makati
