Position: Medical Billing Specialist Salary Range: USD 900-1500 /month Working Schedule : Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST | 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM Manila Time About The Company The company provides individualized services to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Responsible for verifying and posting charges, include working denials and rejections. Manage enrollment, management, claim submission, and payment posting of patient assistance programs. Responsible for posting and monitoring payments from patients and third-party payers. Research and correct all insurance denials. Verify and obtain required pre-certifications, pre-authorization, pre-determinations or other required notifications from third-party payers. Identify delinquent accounts for enhanced collection activities and/or follow-up. Perform collection actions, including contacting patients, insurance companies, and/or patient assistance programs by telephone and/or letter and resubmitting claims, as necessary. Follow up on unpaid or improperly paid claims as necessary. Check and resolve tasks assigned through email, EMR, and other internal communication channels. Requirements 5+ years of medical billing assistant Tools: Google workspace, Microsoft Excel(required) Trello (peferred) Must have experience using any CRM tool Good written and verbal communication skills
