Job Description:
As a Medical Billing/Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the revenue cycle management of our clinical lab operations. Your primary focus will be on maximizing revenue while adhering to industry regulations and ensuring compliance. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals and be responsible for managing appeals, AR claims, and reporting to ensure the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities: * Revenue Cycle Management: Manage all aspects of the revenue cycle, from charge capture to reimbursement, and implement strategies to optimize revenue collection.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of billing and accounts receivable professionals, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment.
Appeals and AR Claims: Oversee the appeals process and manage the resolution of denied claims to minimize revenue loss.
Compliance and Regulation: Ensure adherence to healthcare billing regulations and compliance standards, staying up-to-date with industry changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
Reporting: Generate regular reports and provide insights on key performance indicators related to revenue and accounts receivable, offering recommendations for process improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in medical billing and accounts receivable management, preferably in a clinical lab or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management, healthcare regulations, and compliance.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in billing and revenue cycle software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
