Measures of Success:
In 3 to 6 months you should have:
Mastered the use/application of buying tools (both industry and proprietary) to ensure accurate and efficient media plan preparation and implementation for the brands assigned to you.
What your day job looks like at MediaCom:
A Media Buyer handles specific brands and performs the following tasks:
Implementation of ATL media schedules
Assist media planners in checking to buy briefs and preparing plans,
Weekly Post buy: runs in Arianna, check for Missed spots/bump-offs (plan vs. actual)
Help in CPIRP Actualization
2nd eye in checking the media cost and Media plans before sending to Buying Head for approval
Whatever other help that the Buying Team may request from her (check cue sheets, transfer spots, issue memos, etc)
Prepare and check regular monthly reports vs Spectra, CE & Vendors' report
Help in preparing total campaign post buys.

Fresh Graduate or 1-2 years work experience in a related field ie. marketing, advertising, research.
