Job Objective :
The Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible in the successful planning, design, cost estimation, fabrication, installation, overseeing implementation and documentation of all aspects of the identified mechanical projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
Develop mechanical system design based for the identified requirements of a project in accordance to engineering principles.
Interprets the desired project outcome into a detailed plan that can be implemented by the project team by dealing with project stakeholders at all levels.
Oversees project implementation ensuring that execution is in accordance to design specifications & methodology, within scope, budget and schedule. Any deviation shall be communicated immediately for approval.
Minimize project risks by identifying potential risks during design and implementation ensuring that preventive action plans are defined, communicated throughout the project cycle.
Changes in the project scope affecting budget & schedule shall be communicated so that proper change request is managed.
Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed. Violation on safety protocols are documented & reported for proper handling.
Ensures the quality of the project by defining it, committing to it, manage it, perform quality checking; control & correcting, focusing on the scope & requirements & document lessons learned throughout the project cycle.
Keeps & maintain accurate plans, records and files according to quality management standard.
Take an active role in the technical review of potential vendors or service providers for project with upmost integrity & impartiality.
Recommends award for implementation of projects.
Ensures compliance of food safety and good housekeeping based on the standard requirements of 5S, GMP, HACCP, ISO, ERM and Halal.
Performs other related task as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Food Safety :
Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
Other Task :
Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Education:
Graduate of Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in Mechanical designing, fabrication and installation and other related work.
Licenses:
Preferably Licensed Mechanical Engineer
Other Requirements:
Has lots of initiative
Good organization skills
Ability to communicate well, both written and oral.
Knowledgeable on basic ACAD operation and has ability to explain design ideas & plans clearly
Effective technical skills.
Fundamental knowledge mechanical design and its application in automation industrial designs.
