Main tasks:
To provide Engineering Design Services to meet all relevant New Zealand Standards and Building Code Requirements.
Design Services to cover full range of Building Services Systems specific to their discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Hydraulics (MEP)) including but not limited to:
o Cooling, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning systems
o BMS and controls systems
o Hot and Cold Water Systems
o Foul Drainage systems
Design calculations and supporting sketches, drawings, schedules, and specifications for all the above.
To attend meetings with our senior team, including being an active participant in the meetings.
Providing input to support the design process and being proactive in developing solutions to resolve design challenges.
To deliver all design outputs to a high standard of coordination with all other design disciplines whether in house or external parties, considering Safety in Design at all stages of design to an appropriate level for that design stage.
Early advice of issues requiring input from other team members that is not forthcoming to Honoris Limited to be escalated as needed. This is key so that Honoris Limited develops a reputation for a high standard of proactive coordination at all stages of project design.
To deliver all design outputs in accordance with programme requirements such that Honoris continues to build its reputation for on time delivery every time. To provide early advice if a programme date is under threat and to work with the Honoris senior team and other parties.
When attending meetings with external parties to be well presented, acting with a high standard of professionalism always.
