The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the repairs and maintenance bottom line and day to day operations of several small business units of the company as well as the day to day operations of the entire mixed-use center. Plan, directs and coordinates small business unit operations. Manages daily operations, formulates policies and plans the use of materials and employees to ensure smooth operations of the entire mixed-use center. Ensures maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds and facilities with the help of Engineering Services. Applies the means to achieve personnel, tenant &customer safety, security and satisfaction. Ensures good relationship with government units. Contributes to ensuring that organizational goals are met.
Requirements
· Must be a BS Mechanical Engineering graduate (with good scholastic records)
· Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer
· With at least 5 years solid work experience in a supervisory capacity gained from commercial buildings and/or industrial plants
· With experience in trouble shooting and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration operations, generator sets, pumps, cooling towers, chillers, and all mechanical tools and equipment
· With strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Must be detail-oriented, very organized, flexible, and can handle work pressure
· Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook
