Qualifications
Must be a graduate of Mechanical Engineering course
with at least 2-3 years of procurement experience patriculary in manufacturing, construction and mining industry.
exposure or experience in equipment purchasing in manufacturing or construction industry is advantage (civil, mechanical and electrical)
able to determine the best deals for the company by evaluating pres and cons based on factors such as price, quality and speed of delivery
Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills with a high sense of intergrity, honesty and good moral characters
Keen sense on details and analytical
proficient in ms offcice applications
good coordination and communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct research and source new suppliers and vendors
Receives requisition for products and services, clarifies unclear items from the end-user and recommends altenative options.
Source materials, goods, products, and services thru various channels (e.g., internal, referrals, walk-in, etc.) and negotiate the best or most co-effective contracts and deals.
Prepares canvass sheet and assists in comparing/evaluating offers of supplies.
Prepares Purchase Order ensuring specifications, price and other details are correctly entered in the procument system.
Receives purchased products form supplies and input appropriate item tagging / inventory in the system
Forwards procurement documents to finance for timely payment processing.
Monitors all requisitions and provides update to end-user ensuring all requests are processed / delivered on time.
Ensures procurement records and documents are poperly files, traceable and easily retrievable.
Maintains monitoring of prices for common office consumables
Maintains list of accredited suppliers and update them on a regular basis.
Support Financa team on some month-end task
Update and maintain records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
Coordinate and facilitate pull-out and replacement if the delivered items have damages/discrepancies in specifications.
