​Create Schematics based on customer defined specifications.
Perform routing analysis and project feasibility studies.
Define assembly specifications.
Create assembly test packages.
Define & setup CAD package for designer for either parts placement and or routing.
Create Engineering Analysis for project quote.
Attends product development and critical kick off meetings for initial product launch.
Create part number forms, AVL forms, Bom Creation forms and BOM change forms.
Sends sales order part number updates.
Perform design layout and produce manufacturing documents when needed.
Perform QA inspection on final designs for completeness and quality.
Travels when needed to San Jose factory to perform final product verification.
Create and process ECO's and release ECO's.
Work closely with assembly shops to resolve any assembly issues prior to or during build.
Work closely with PCB shops to understand and resolve PCB fabrication processes.
Meet with vendors and suppliers for face to face discussions.
Create Interface board CAD templates for customer use.
All other related duties as assigned by management.
