Job Description
This role is key to ensuring that all master data maintenance - creation and change, requests are correctly and timely process ensuring compliance to necessary controls and adherence to data quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible in processing requests related to creation and maintenance of Master Data.
Facilitate process meetings, trainings or knowledge-sharing within the team or to other stakeholders of MDM
Identify operational efficiencies, recommend improvements and maintain a continuous improvement culture for the process.
Identify improvement initiatives/projects within MDM or GOC organization and drive its effective implementation
Coordinate with or communicate changes or improvements in Master Data impacting different organizations
Involve in IT projects (e.g. mergers/acquisitions) related to Master Data to ensure smooth transition from Projects to MDM
Provides guidance and direction to a group of MDM specialists, including conversations related to performance reviews.
Required Experience
Background and exposure in master data entities in SAP ECC, particularly FICO, SD, MM, and PP modules.
Minimum 5 years work experience related to SAP master data management - in the areas of Customer, Vendor, FICO (Bank, Cost Center, Profit Center, and GL), with strong emphasis on Price and Material Master (including BOM maintenance and routing) data.
At least 2 years relevant leadership experience
Experienced on managing IT projects related to, and involving, master data.
Process knowledge in the areas of Supply Chain, Material Management, and FICO
Proficient in MS applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Relevant work experience on SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and ARIBA.
Preferred Competency and Personal Traits
Strong leadership and project management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Detail oriented and demonstrates ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills - ability to communicate to all levels in the organization and across functions.
