Description
The Master Data Administrator performs accurate data entry in accordance with quality standards, in compliance with relevant controls, policy/procedures and within the defined Service Level Agreement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor the MDM group mailbox for requests and process by priority and using First In-First Out (FIFO) approach
Review and analyze requests to ensure that duplicate data is not created and that data changes conforms with the defined data standards, key controls and policies
Perform creation and maintenance of master records in compliance to the work instructions and necessary approvals
Engage requesters (customers) as required to ensure complete and accurate data management
Respond to inquiries related to the master data and its functionality
Collect and record receipt of creation/maintenance requests for proper monitoring using the tracking tool
Maintain "first time right" mentality and behavior
Support training facilitation in relation to subject matter expertise
Performs other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT or any Business-related course
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Master Data maintenance
Knowledge in business processes such as OTC and S2P preferred
Keen to details and have strong sense of ownership
Working knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Knowledge in SAP R/3 or ERP systems
Understanding of master data usage in business processes
Can follow procedures and guidelines, and, can work independently
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Willing to work flexible hours or shifting schedule as required by the business
Good in verbal and written communication
