This job is for International Builders' Corporation in Pavia, Iloilo. While Iloilo-based applicants are preferred, this position is open to experienced Material Planners from other areas in the Philippines who are willing to be based in Iloilo.
The Materials Planner is in charge of identifying and forecasting materials needed for production, procuring these materials to ensure an adequate supply to support continuous operations, and maintaining efficient inventory levels of materials while meeting financial targets.
Responsibilities:
• Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders.
• Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
• Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.
• Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
• Negotiating and liaising with suppliers
• Managing inventory issues
• Recommending cost control measures; preparing cost estimates and performance reports.
• Eventually, build a team of Materials Planners whom he will develop, train and supervise
B. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
• College graduate preferrably from Industrial Engineering or Business-related courses, background in Logistics or Inventory Management
