MATERIAL PLANNER
Job Responsibilities:
Determines material requirements and optimum order quantities based on Production schedule
Determines supplier capacity and delivery lead time to align with Production schedule and initiate ordering of materials from suppliers
Anticipate potential problems and risks, generate ideas, insight and solutions to resolve potential problems, followed by decisive actions to implement solutions
Analyze data to determine opportunities to decrease inventory, improve customer service levels, and reduce total costs in order to support lean manufacturing activities
Eliminate discrepancies in material inventory appropriate tracking and accounting
