Description
Manages the master data set of customers, vendors, inventory/product items,
price, freight, fixed assets, bank, and employee in Oracle that ensures the
integrity of data collection and utilization (master data governance is in place)
Analyzes the business processes and designs/creates reporting solutions for
business decisions (thru the use of Business Intelligence tools like Oracle
Financial Statement Generator - FSG, Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence
- OTBI, Microsoft Power BI)
Manages the user authorization in Oracle and other applications
Performs data management, data governance, and data quality processing to
ensures data integrity and quality in the Oracle systems
Collaborates with subject matter experts and functional data owners in
developing data collection strategies, policies and controls to ensure data
accuracy and completeness
Establishes standard processes and procedures on data creation, coding
schemes, and data structures that will support the needs of the Functional Data
Owners
Develops an error detection and correction process to maintain the quality and
integrity of data
Conducts regular master data quality health check
Manages, analyzes, and resolves data processing issues encountered by End
Users
Works with Business Applications Team, SMEs, and Functional Data Owners to
the master data are aligned with the requirements of the business and
applications tools
Defines, designs, builds, and implements the Oracle Business Intelligence (BI)
architecture and strategies that includes Data Warehousing and Reporting
Solutions for operational, ad-hoc, and other BI related business requirements
Designs and develops interfaces that will link the Oracle data to third party
applications (e.g. bank, PLCs, weighbridge, etc.)
Provides training to users to how to better use of the master data thru the use of
the available BI tools.
Establishes the user roles/profile in Oracle
Ensures that user accesses are compliant with Segregation of Duties
