Job Description
The MX Content Senior Associate plays a vital role in the organization. He/She is responsible for co-developing and implementing strategies to prevent and mitigate fraud in all Carousell Markets.
He/She also takes part in creating and improving our Policies & Procedures and Workflows to ensure our marketplace is safe for our users.
Apart from the above, the MX Content Associate will report to the Trust & Safety Associate Manager and will work together with the MX team, primarily with the Core T&S team.
Responsibilities:
Identify type of fraud, trends and create rules that support Fraud Prevention and Mitigation
Perform drill down analysis for fraud
Recommend strategies to enhance fraud detection
Minimize and prevent loses in relation to our In-App payment feature
Identify opportunities in existing procedures and workflows and recommend solution (in all governing workflows of Trust & Safety)
Create new workflows as deemed necessary
Identify opportunities to enhance User experience using our Policies & Procedures and Workflows
Resolve escalated fraud related issues
Review all alerts from different sources (internal and external)
Facilitate calibrations with peers in MX and T&S Moderation/Tickets team.
Do weekly deep dive and reporting of performance and metrics.
Perform administrative tasks as assigned or needed.
Perform Ad Hoc tasks (Eg. Perform critical Moderator duties).

Background on Fraud Prevention or quality Assurance is preferred
Technical skills Required
In-depth Knowledge on Fraud Prevention and Mitigation
Strong Analytical and interpretative skills relating to Fraud
Knowledge on Process improvement
Comfortable with data - must be comfortable in analyzing complex and large amount of data
Advance computer skills, including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Google Workspace.

Conversant in English & Filipino whether verbal or written
