Responsibilities
PR/Media Relations
Develop the PR plan for Region and maintain an editorial calendar to achieve objectives.
Prepare, vet and edit any documents (e.g., press releases, briefing documents, infographics, etc.) as needed.
Manage the timelines with Analysts to ensure timely delivery of press materials
Review and manage all requests for use of IDC content following the IDC Permissions Terms of Use for AP-based companies
Take responsibility for Media Relations: provide a response to media queries as needed, maintain an effective media list, and organize media events/interviews as needed.
Monitor press coverage of implemented media activities.
Consistently measure effectiveness of media activities/outreach and propose changes as needed
Manage the quarterly Media Star Awards process
Communicate latest news and updates through various IDC assets e.g. Social, IDC.com, etc.
Internal Communications
Develop an internal communications matrix that ensures key messages and updates are communicated effectively to IDC personnel
Communicate latest news and updates through various IDC assets e.g. IDC.com, etc.
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in building and maintaining media relationships
Good stakeholder management and ability to work well with a wide spectrum of audience (e.g. media, public, senior management and the Analysts)
Ability to create a Communications Plan and build an editorial calendar
Strong project management skills
