JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Tracks, processes and analyzes sales data obtained; recommends actions to address findings, and presents monthly sales analysis report to the Marketing Head;
Keeps abreast with market trends and provides users with information on new products available in the market;
Identifies new product opportunities, conducts price survey, gathers competitive report and activities, and checks product display via market scanning;
Gathers, processes and analyzes competitors’ reports from fieldwork and promotion merchandising team and submits to the Marketing Head monthly competitive analysis report;
Monitors and observes the performance of promotion merchandising personnel by reviewing sales performance and mystery shopping;
Recommends product, price and other marketing mix strategies based on sales and competitive reports;
Prepares industry analysis for consumer appliances in the Philippines;
Identifies SWOT, prepares competitive, market study and brand audit for the marketing plan and recommends strategic actions to address research findings;
Participates in marketing events and activities as deemed necessary. Assists Marketing Communications Officer in marketing events, launching and trade activities in the execution of the plan;
Provides report to management on overall product and marketing activities
Practices 5S / maintains good housekeeping in the workplace;
Safeguards/protect the company’s image.
Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Economics, Engineering (Industrial), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mathematics, Marketing or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
With knowledge on how to conduct consumer behaviour analysis, industry analysis, competitive analysis and brand audit;
With knowledge in descriptive and inferential statistics; basics of data processing, tabulation and data management;
With high mathematical reasoning and analytical skills for objective evaluation and inferences;
Must possess adequate reporting and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented, organized and hardworking
With excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Highly motivated, with self-initiative and can work with minimal supervision
Willing to work in Edsa Munoz, Quezon City under Compressed Work Week (Mondays to Fridays)
