The Marketing Reporting Analyst coordinates with various internal groups to develop analyses and reports consistent with company strategy, and report on campaign performance.
The role supports stakeholders in all reporting, dashboard creation, and data analytics requirements. The role works closely with managers to build reports that can help improve targeting and decision-making as a whole.
Core Responsibilities
Produce business data reports to support stakeholders' marketing plans and strategies
Build reports using platforms such as Teradata SQL, Tableau , as requested and proactively
Write SQL scripts for CRM system querying to cater to business reporting requirements
Extracts data lists from various marketing channels
Collaborate with the Marketing partners and managers regarding their report and data analytics needs
Maintain and enhance the Marketing Campaigns Dashboard
Build reporting dashboards as required by stakeholders
Provide MQL reports (Activities, Touchpoints, Leads and Opportunities reports)
Provide Industry Monitoring report (Customer, Industry and Competitor Insights)
Provide ad hoc Excel data manipulation support for stakeholders
Data prospecting and validation
Provide consultation, analysis and guidance on marketing programs to maximize revenue.
Recommend action plans that are consistent with Business Unit
Prepare training materials where required.
Identify problem situations and questions inconsistencies in business processes and practices and propose solutions where appropriate.
Adhoc tasks as assigned by the business unit
The Ideal Candidate
Is passionate about business to business marketing
Has at least 3+ years of experience in reporting and analysis, preferably with marketing data
Has a passion for working with data and analytics
Has a diploma and/or degree related in Marketing, Business, Analytics or related discipline
Desired Personal Skills
Strategic mindset and ability to effectively communicate actionable insights
Ability to integrate syndicated data sources to develop comprehensive analyses
Proven ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies in written and visual communications
High level of independent judgment, initiative and strong attention to detail
Project and time management skills demonstrated by the ability to manage a number of projects at the same time
Has the ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills through proactivity
Has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Has good time management and negotiation skills
Strong commitment to performance and team success
Desired Technical Skills
Intermediate knowledge in SQL
Advanced knowledge in Excel
Data visualization experience, a strong plus
Knowledge in Siebel CRM preferred but not required
Knowledge in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) preferred but not required
Must have strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to effectively articulate insights and recommend actions
