The main responsibility of the Marketing Reporting Analyst includes development of marketing metrics reports and dashboard to measure campaign performance, and creation of business intelligence reports in support of company strategy.
They support various teams in the business, primarily the Marketing and Sales groups, by providing reports, analysis, and recommendations, and work closely with stakeholders such as Segment Managers by providing data requirements to improve targeting and data-driven decision-making as a whole.
Qualifications:
marketing analytics expert
intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge is a must
PowerBI knowledge is a huge plus; other data viz platforms also ok
SQL knowledge is preferred but not required
knowledgeable in multi-channel marketing metrics reporting
can identify opportunity areas based on results and KPIs
can derive actionable insights and provide data-driven recommendations to improve strategy
knowledgeable in creating performance dashboards in Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, or other data viz platforms
must be comfortable doing data prep and data cleansing work
