JOB DESCRIPTION
General Responsibilities:
PLANNING & ORGANIZING
As directed by the Manager, the Marketing Associate will be responsible for maintaining any of the following:
A current list of client companies and the chief “contacts” in each company.
A current record of clients with repeat orders or have made referrals on behalf of the company.
A record of potential clients with the names of decision makers to be contacted.
Compilation of all documents related to awarded projects or contracts entered into by the company.
Current status of projects as to compliance with customer requirements (on time, on spec, on cost).
Coordinate with Client to Conduct Scoping, Site survey, Product presentation and Preparation, submission and Follow up Proposal.
Minutes of meetings with customers.
Together with the Marketing Executive, the Marketing Associate will be responsible for:
Monitoring the marketing plans to maintain a sustained flow of viable projects.
Implementing the alternate plans to meet any shortfall in company’s actual revenue performance.
Implementing the plan to maintain a good relationship with all customers.
Keeping the regular communication flow between Marketing and the Operations Department in implementing until securing Certificate of Acceptance (COA) of the project.
Keeping regular communication flow between Marketing and Finance department in acquisition of equipment and other requirements related to the projects.
Keeping the regular communication flow between Marketing and Finance Department for the status of Collection.
CONTROLLING
Together with the Marketing Executive, the Marketing Associate will be responsible for:
Using the “flow chart”, document the progress of each awarded project based on information provided by SBU management.
Documenting reasons provided by management explaining any variance between the customer’s requirements versus the Department’s performance as to time commitment and project specifications.
Reviewing contracts to ensure that all “viability” requirements are met.
Time Management: Uses time management techniques to maximize personal and department’s productivity
Directing Function
Lead:
Encourages SBU management to achieve revenue goals as well as practice cost-conscious behaviors.
Motivate:
Practices the three (3) “R’s:
Reward
Recognition
Respect (e.g. “Praise in public, reprimand in private!”)
Communicate:
Uses the “Clarify and Confirm” technique of communication.
Informs all management of all news that is critical to their success.
Informs SBU managers of all news that will affect business decisions.
Provides written communications (memos, notices) as necessary.
