Job Objective: The position is mainly responsible in researching/environmental scanning, data analysis, and assessing consumer preferences to help the Bank decide on how to shape, advertise and market their products and services. He/She keeps the Bank updated and ahead of the business competition. Likewise, he shall closely monitor the activities and product offerings of competing Banks to serve as reference in the evaluation of performance of BMI's new products. Main Responsibilities: Researches and complies data related to current product market, customer demographics and interest, and factors influencing product demand and analyzes results to identify ways of maximizing sales and market penetration of current products. Gathers data related to competitors products such as pricing, sales and marketing or distribution methodology. Devises and evaluates methods for data collection. Works with Product Communications and Channels Marketing Head in doing sales forecasting and action planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of the bank's products and services. Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to Customer Experience Management and Marketing Department Head. Monitors and analyzes performance of BMI's new products and other new offerings of the competing Banks. Qualification Requirements: Bachelors Degree in any business-related course With at least 3 years of work experience in market research or data analytics Knowledge in product development, bank procedures and principles Able to deliver required work output on the set deadline or earlier Has strong sense of responsibility, systematic, and capable of effectively collaborating with other teams Equipped with good communication/presentation and interpersonal skills Good problem solving and keen attention to quality of deliverable
