Market Access Manager
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Market Access Manager will perform MSD's corporate affairs function (Internal and External) by building awareness and enhancing reputation of MSD in the Philippines (corporate communications) and by enhancing visibility of product growth drivers (therapeutic communications) in the public and key stakeholders/sectors.
Our Market Access team monitor population demographics and develop solutions to give patients access to our medicines. We act as both educators and advocates for our products, processes, and practices that help us revolutionize how our medicines create value in society.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Key Responsibilities:
Internal - Formulary Inclusion Dossiers
Manage the preparation of PNF inclusion dossiers of MSD products
Coordinate with medical with regards to GVDs
Coordinate with business units with regards to pricing
Coordinate with regional MA with regards to economic models
Business Unit public strategies
Participate/Support forecasting processes
Develop strategies in response to insights on public market behavior
Develop a program designed to have the commercial team understand the formulary inclusion process
Develop playbook for potential private-public partnership
External Relationships and Channels
Funding institutions (HMOs, Insurers, Foundations and Cooperatives)
Develop program for Plan Value Optimization for HMOs and Chain Clinics/Infusion centers
Work with manager regarding timelines and milestones
Identify and map key stakeholders for possible partnership and implementation
Develop value dossier for foundations to include Oncology products in their medical assistance to employees and indigents
Develop a possible cancer package with identified insurers
Develop a health loan program specific to Lung Cancer - cooperatives (seafarers and OFWs)
Develop a stakeholder engagement plan primarily in DOH Central Public Health Services Team
Seek out government centers/LGUs that could be potential partners
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role, you will have strong technical skills as well as business capabilities. The requirements are as follows:
University educated to a high level (Bachelor's degree is required)
At least 1 year experience in public health work, preferably government, overall 4-6 years' experience
Worked in various projects related to HTA, private or public
Skilled in stakeholder mapping and engagement
Good presentation skills (PPT)
Good oral and written communication skills
Experience of the healthcare industry preferred
Excellent English and Filipino oral, written and presentations skills
