Job Description
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and specifications.
Oversee the installation of marine equipment, systems, and components.
Install and maintain propulsion systems, including engines, propellers, and thrusters.
Install, and maintain electrical power generation and distribution systems onboard vessels.
Ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems.
Develop and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in various marine applications, such as steering, lifting, and cargo handling.
Stay abreast of industry regulations, classification society rules, and international maritime standards.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Marine) or similar fields.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience working on board marine vessels, preferably as a Marine Engineer.
Experience with engine room operations, maintenance, and repairs is essential.
Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field like Mechanical Engineering with focus on marine applications.
Proven track record of leadership, problem-solving under pressure, and experience overseeing all aspects of engine room operations, maintenance, and repairs.
Experience with specific types of machinery, propulsion systems, and fuel types can be an advantage depending on the desired career path.
