Description:
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible in the following:
Executing conversion of raw materials into finished goods of his line; using the resources allocated to him such as manpower, tools, equipment, and systems.
Ensuring that the quality of the raw materials and finished products are within the standard specifications.
Operating and maintaining process equipment to ensure production at optimum efficiency and standard quality.
Performs start-up, operation, changeover, and shutdown procedures of assigned equipment in the line.
Understands basic food processing of assigned equipment in the line.
Ensures availability of raw materials, manpower and equipment during production execution.
Executes planned daily activities.
Conducts AM event (cleaning, inspection, lubrication and tightening) of assigned equipment in the line.
Supports and participates in other AM initiatives such as red tag and blue tag application, creation and update of standards and checklists, creation of Single Point Lessons, visual management, etc.
Performs equipment checks of assigned equipment in the line and utilize the Work Order system for planned maintenance activity
Performs immediate repair of the equipment during production equipment breakdown.
Performs raw material, on line product and full goods quality check and inspection of assigned equipment in the line according to standards and procedures.
Understands application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor process parameters.
Checks, monitors and adjusts equipment and process parameters to meet standards.
Perform other job or expertise related assignments
Requirements:
Candidate must be a Bachelor's or College Degree holder in Engineering, Food Science & Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Technology and other related courses
At least one (1) year work experience in a food manufacturing plant, preferably involved in similar production lines.
