Texas Instruments is looking for an energetic engineer with a passion for quality, who enjoys helping others to succeed by providing team members and clients with support in a positive and professional work environment. This position provides the opportunity to drive continual improvement at all levels. Our quality team is primarily focused on driving improved systems and tools and providing a consistent and positive relationship with our business partners. We are searching for a self-directed, highly motivated engineer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to, and develop expertise in working across teams inside and outside of one of Texas Instruments' fabs. The selected candidate will be given assignments and projects that are meaningful, challenging and that provide an outstanding experience, while contributing to the success of Texas Instruments.
Responsibilities include:• Plan and oversee the auditing process
Develop audit plan and audit schedules
Perform internal quality audits
Lead completion of internal and external audits
Present audit updates to management
Evaluate and ensure organizational processes comply with the requirements of standards (IAT16949, ISO9001) as well customer and the organization's own requirements.
Identifying opportunities for continual improvement to increase compliance and driving to solutions
Oversee document control activities
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other related engineering degree
Certified Lead Auditor (IATF16949)
Three (3) or more years of auditing experience and working in a semiconductor environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Attention to details
In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices
Ability to lead and work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong time management skills that enable on-time completion of activities or projects
Ability to work independently and effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Familiar with automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA), rootcause analysis techniques and document control
