Your Impact On Our Mission:
As a Manual QA you will join a dedicated, fully remote QA team. You will collaborate with our product team of 11 developers and 1 designer on a continuous basis. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven company that just closed a Series A financing following -20% monthly growth, and has just started a total rewrite and redesign of the core product.
Your day to day is...
Work within an agile environment to conduct manual testing on new features and to ensure they meet defined requirements before releasing to production.
Create concise reports and communicate results to the engineering team.
Use various mediums to communicate with both the QA Team Lead and developers, as well as the Operations Team, such as ClickUp Tasks, Slack and google docs.
Analyse test requirements, execute given test cases and validate assertions while being vigilant for edge cases.
Deliver results on monthly Regression and Functional test runs that will drive our monthly manual QA metrics.
Validate bug fixes on a staging environment before they are merged and deployed, as well as on production after deployment.
Perform smoke testing, when needed as well as sanity testing
Provide estimations for your deliverables and plan towards their completion.
Report to the QA Team Lead on estimations, blockers, daily progress and results.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Minimum of 1 year experience in quality assurance, testing and reporting of web based applications.
1+ years of experience in manual testing.
Understanding of the terms SDLC and STLC.
Passion for quickly shipping reliable and well tested features.
You are experienced with agile methodologies and understand what it means to have a quality mindset in an agile environment.
Willing to learn new technologies, such as Cypress e2e automation framework, to maximize skill set.
Ability to handle different stakeholders.
Great communication skills.
Ability to work well both within a team and independently.
Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
Detail-oriented.
