The Test Engineer role sits within the DataPay Product Engineering team and is responsible for building, improving, maintaining, and supporting our suite of products. The Test Engineer role is responsible for the quality assurance of the core coded business logic for one or more of these products. You will lead the way in quality for our payroll products. You will be catching defects before they get into production, minimizing bugs, and helping the team create great software.
Responsibilities
Perform functional testing based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
Ability to create detailed and accurate test plans.
Develop & execute test plans against developed features and components. Identify and report defects, work with the team to resolve.
Configure, use, and manage test data and environments in strict accordance with all internal and customer security standards.
Perform multi-user testing on relevant parts of the system.
Ensure Datacom Test environments are an adequate representation of the client environment.
Self-Manage tasks - take responsibility for estimating, planning, and progress reporting on your tasks and ensure they are done quickly and accurately.
