The Opportunity The Manila Operations Associate is responsible for supporting smooth and uninterrupted business operations at Derivative Path APAC, Inc., a subsidiary of the US-based entity Derivative Path Inc., The role will report directly to the General Manager of Derivative Path APAC, Inc. This role will assist in the Corporate Governance, Human Resources and Accounting functions of the organization. This role is a hybrid role and requires you to be in the office at least 2 days a week in Manila, PH. Responsibilities Corporate Governance Assist in the processing of business registrations and licenses Performs administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, and other related administrative functions. Create and maintain orderly and systematic filing systems, both electronic and physical. Maintain a monitoring file and database of vendors and suppliers. Monitors and safeguards all company-owned equipment including the incoming and outgoing coordination with building and administration management which includes the creation and process of related forms for pullout and delivery of equipment. Assists in travel-related needs such as hotel, flight and airport transfers booking and coordination. Other administrative duties that may be assigned. Human Resources Assists in the collation of pre-employment requirements including coordination with HMO partner with the submission of COE (no compensation) for enrollment and registration. Conducts basic background checks of applicants for hire via verification of candidate information including but not limited to employment history, calling of identified references and documenting the responses. Secures equipment from separated employees and ensures proper documentation and turnover of equipment and other paraphernalia to the IT team. Ensure completeness of HR records, documents, and reports for regular audit. Updating HR databases (for e.g., new hires, separations, PTOs); prior experience working with JeonSoft systems preferred. Other tasks related to HR operations may be assigned. Accounting May be asked to prepare various Financial Statements and reports (monthly, quarterly or yearly) which may include government requirements as required by the BIR, SSS, etc. Assists in the completion of various BIR forms and compliance with deadlines set by government agencies. May be asked to performs bank reconciliations within NetSuite. Assist in the review and processing of select transactions related to payroll, purchases, transportation, communication, utilities, rental, supplies, reimbursements, liquidations, professional fees, and other transactions and ensure completeness of required supporting documents. Other accounting-related tasks to be assigned from time to time. Skills And Qualifications 5 to 10 years' relevant work experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance or related field required.
